”The Last Bison”  A cycle plays out through the four elements of this sculpture. An 1830 British coin creates a rift in the sandblasted walnut. 1830 was the year the first reservation was established in America. This rift runs to the stone breaking the Sacred Hoop along the way. Above is a pictograph bison with a bronze arrow in its heart. The line of sight from the arrow brings us to a dejected warrior(in progress; to be cast in bronze when complete) who has just released an arrow into the last bison. His brother against the wolf. I think we can mend the hoops of the world. They are being broken in different lands to this very day.
